Oh I’ll tell you a terrible tattoo story... so it was like 4 years ago now and I was sad about a boy (who is now my fiancé) and my friend and I decided to get fucked up.
So we got bottles, weed, coke. And got real fucked up. And we had stuff to do stick and poke tattoos. So I grabbed the stuff, and started tattooing his name on my hand. My friend grabbed the stuff and told me to stop. But then she decided it would be better for her to do it or else I was just going to. Sooo now I have a shitty ass name tattoo on my hand forever. 🥴

My bff and I got matching tattoos. Hers looks beautiful. Mine took 3 times as long, swelled up like crazy and looks terrible. He even did research for the touch up and used different ink. It's blown out, scarred up and faded. It's my first and last unfortunately, bc I'm afraid it will happen again.

But just fyi, for anyone thinking "oh I can draw, I'm an artist, I can definitely do tattoos" ... *no* . Lol. Tattooing skin is completely different from drawing on paper, and just bc you're great at one doesn't mean you won't suck at the other. Just a PSA.

My artist usually smokes before she starts tattooing me. We usually both do lol. She always has the best resin carts that she gets from a friend of hers.. Awesome stuff. I think the first time she tattooed me, she didnt show me she was smoking before hand, but then we got to talking and weed came up, and from then, we usually toke together before she gets to hurting me for acouple hours lol. We just finished my first sleeve, of which she did most of the design work. I mean I guided her to type of things I wanted, but just verbally, and then she would come back with the design. And no kidding, she fuckin nailed the shit. I LOVE having my sleeve out for people to see. Shoulder to hand, and the theme is like, Cosmic Molecule Science.. lol.. yeah thats a thing lol. but yeah lots of galaxy stuff, with a whole bunch of hexagon grid pieces, some specific molecules, DNA helixes, and a Singularity/All Seeing Eye on my hand. I aint even trying to be chill about, I fucking LOVE it.
So like.. Dont get a tattoo from an artist you dont know who is baked. DO get a tattoo from someone who uses weed to enhance their creativity,and has proven they do bomb work even when high.
And dont buy cheap tattoos. Save your money. One amazing tattoo, is a million times better than 5 horrendous tattoos.
